This is a pretty decent YA about an American-Korean teenager whose father recently moved them to South Korea. Shenanigans begin when she notices strange creatures appearing before her that no one else can see. Add in some Tae Kwon Do, a cute boy and a lot of Korean myths come to life and you've got an entertaining read. The narrator did a good job and managed the male voices well enough. I don't know if it was the narrator or just the text, but I didn't feel a whole lot of connection to the characters. I did like that Jae Hwa did most of the important fighting herself and figured out things herself, despite being surrounded by competent guys.
